The Akoma Ntoso Schema Validator
The Akoma Ntoso Schema Validator provides validation for any XML file against the main Akoma Ntoso schema or any subschema thereof.
Drag first the schema and then the XML files in the box on the left. This application will call the Akoma Ntoso Validation engine and will show the result of the validation for each XML file. Click on each row of the XML files to show the details of the validation results. Click on the row of the schema file to hide and show the list of XML files validated with the schema.
You can drop both an XSD file or a .zip file containing one or more .xsd files (e.g., such as the ones produced by the Akoma Ntoso Subschema Generator v2.0 (AKNSSG20). If you drop a .zip file, the largest .xsd file therein will be used for the validation. If you drop the .zip produced by AKNSSG20, this would usually be the file called 11-akn-subschema.xsd (containing co-constraint rules if some have been selected) or akn-subschema.xsd if none has been selected.
Dropping XML files without specifying a schema document first will make the validator use the full Akoma Ntoso schema as a whole. If you drop a subschema requiring the file xml.xsd, one will be provided in the same directory as the main XSD file.
